Dude starting an international war claiming the telephone…. As Bell was Scottish and took the idea from an Italian, who Bell worked as an assistant for….
Dope track, That basketball ref the end was funny though
This sond is a really good mix, the beat and the vioce are great. Actually I don’t really like HipHop, because of the bull**** behind… but this song is lovely and got a positive posture… even if some facts are not true…
But… “unintelligent fuck we invented the telephone
we made Yahtzee
the light bulb, hockey”
- The telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell (Scotland, UK) but he went to Canada in 1870 and began his experiments in 1873-1874 with a harmonic telegraph, following the examples of Bourseul, Reis, Meucci, and Gray.
- Yahtzee was made Milton Bradley (MB) and he was born an died in the U.S.
- Light bulp? No way, the first how experimented with this was Sir Humphry Davy, born in England. In North America, parallel developments were taking place. On July 24, 1874 a Canadian patent was filed by a Toronto medical electrician named Henry Woodward and a colleague Mathew Evans. They built their lamps with different sizes and shapes of carbon rods held between electrodes in glass cylinders filled with nitrogen. Woodward and Evans attempted to commercialize their lamp, but were unsuccessful. They ended up selling their patent (U.S. Patent 0,181,613) to Thomas Edison in 1879
- Hockey? Yes! You can claim that!
From oral histories, there is evidence of a tradition of an ancient hockey-like game played among the Mi’kmaq First Nation in Eastern Canada.
sorry dlogic but the game was “invented” by a Canadian couple in 1954, sold to a toymaker named E.S. Lowe. He didn’t patent it in the US untill 1956. Milton Bradley bought the rights when he bought Lowe’s company in 1973. Still checking on your other facts buts we invented Trivial Pursuit too!
To dlogic:
First of all, learn how to spell before you try to diss our inventions. Second, what the fuck is wrong with you? This song is not ment to be historically correct, it is a mere statement to show that in Canada we do not live up to the stereotypes made up about us. So you can shove your stupid historical facts up your ass. If your gonna listen to a song just to pick out the innaccuracy in it, dont bother listening to music at all. Music is meant to be enjoyed not critiqued. Just to make it clear.
