I didn’t even realize it had been dropped either. As soon as I read the review on rapreviews.com though I had to pick it up. After the first listen I think Aesop Rocks beats are meant for one person slug and murs really don’t mesh with em.
Maybe i’ll have to give it a few more tries and see if it grows on me like POS’s album did.
I went and bought this album the day it came out and I agree, Aesop is totally different from The Grouch or Ant on the previous Felt’s it’s a different sound but Slug and Murs both did well. This isn’t one of my favorite songs either and I caught the video the other day on Rhymesayers.com didn’t do much for me then.. still doesn’t. The album has its here and theres as do the other Felt’s.
