In my opinion P.O.S. and Brother Ali are equal it’s just your tastes or maybe your mood that make you feel which is better I love them both, I listen to pos when I want something different and loud and brother ali when i want stories and feelings either way its all good music
Jacob P.O.S has no where the quality of rhyme, flow let alone content to even come close to Ali.
Ali is right at the top of their game creativity and amongst the best in the whole of hip-hop right now. P.O.S is still tentatively finding his feet and he’s not really the most talented member in Doomtree right now as the Dessa and Cecil Otter releases I’ve heard have been better than most of P.O.S ‘s stuff.
I know your entitled to your opinion but I’m with Kats, Ali is in another league.
I think it is fair to say to each his own, I must admit Ali is super talented, but I was gripped with Never Better. Which I haven’t been as much with an Ali release. I’m going to bump him all day and come back.
As a fan of both Ali and P.O.S., i feel that they are hard to compare. But i think its a bit unfair to say that P.O.S. “has no where the quality of rhyme, flow let alone content to even come close to Ali”. They are two completely different Emcees.
Ali probably has more talent, in a conventional sense, than just about anybody. But P.O.S., while still finding his feat sometimes, is doing something no one else is doing (save maybe other members of Doomtree, although I think never better is better than anything Dessa or Cecil Otter have put out although they’re all very talented). P.O.S. gets some leeway to find his feat because he’s navigating uncharted waters.
P.O.S. and Ali shouldn’t be compared they are two different styles. I personally like Ali better because I can relate to his style more and I think he has more experience under his belt. He has some awesome songs Prince Charming, Walking Away, Rainwater and that’s not even touching the surface.
With all the said P.O.S. definitely tops Cecil Otter and Dessa. I’ve never been fond of Cecil Otter’s flow it annoys me just like Kat’s and Domer.
POS is legit, but man Brother Ali is killing the whole state of hip-hop right now. His track on the Zion I album was legit, the G.O.A.T. track, now this, so dope! I did not think he could top The Undisputed Truth, but damn, this dude will probably prove me wrong.

I like POS and all, but he can’t touch Brother Ali. Not many people can in my opinion.

Brother Ali has the Midas mouth right now everything he spits is gold…
This is one album I’ve been looking forward to all year, Ants production has stepped up a level recently so from this sample it won’t disappoint.

Rain Water is one of my favourite Ali tracks…
Agreed, Ant’s production on WLGYL was superb.
