Super big ups for the homie BeatRoot for sending this over. I ain’t gonna lie though, when I saw that dude had just sent me a mixtape from some French hip-hop artists, I chuckled a little. But once I actually listened to the album, I realized that these cats got skillz. Fantastic Planet is a French hip-hop group who apparently teamed up with some U.S. emcees and turntablists to create this mixtape. The Project came about by Mr.Gib, Oogo, and me(Mattic) came together and thought about making a dope mixtape to set up our album. I got in touch with Jneiro Jarel and got his permission to rock over the beats. It was recorded in Paris by Le Fine Equipe and all the vocals are by Mattic(Wax Tailor, The Others, Zookeepers, and Fantastic Planet) and Astrid Engberg(Berry Weight and Fantastic Planet)…..it was done in 2008…
