I agree with Nathan Andreas.. but I think just like all other literature, we perceive and make meaning of more than the writer has even given. That's the art of it all.... there are many stories to the one truth....then there is the absolute but can we understand and accept it as just that? Or must we deconstruct to suit ourselves, or make it more relative to ourselves to understand it?

nah, its a metaphorical grasp on the essence of life; which is God. this woman he talks about is really a source of creativity that fuels the fire to his lyrics and his search for truth. however, the more he searches the more lost and alone he feels. once you cross that line of spiritual enlightment, there's no going back. if you get to close to its ambient/glorious source, it's intensity and profound passion could be too much to bare. read between the lines yall...every track on his album goes deeper than it what it seems.

i sorta think its leaning more to the girl idea jay was talking about and using the technology stuff as a spin of it (cause just otherwise it be cliche), but who knows, maybe k-os could be an amish rapper

Lol! Maybe 303 is right! It would be funny as hell to find out that K-OS is secretly an anti-civ (opposed to technological systems and civilized culture). I bet he keeps copies of Species Traitor and Green Anarchy under his bed. All kidding aside, 303 threw out an important idea (even if only in a vague form). Let's not dismiss 303 so quickly. You never know. . .

303 I think you're diggin a little deep, I've got to agree with Jay-Izzle. If you both want a dose of heat, check out www.reverbnation.com/k3dakonjourman - Lyrically Saavy, w/ tracks that measure up, unlike most of the cats I hear featured on here.

I think you're actually both right. The dependence on using technology to communicate has dulled K-OS' game. He used to have no problem talking to/picking up girls, but now he's out of practice and can't ('fall from grace' line in the chorus).

nah i think it's deeper than that. i think he's talking about technology and how it is preventing us from communicating correctly.
