Now I'm not a hater, and a black president to the general attitude of lower class people of all races, I'm not exactly sure if anything but the image will really be different. To quote Immortal Technique:
"we might even have a black president but he's useless, 'cuz he does not control the economy, stupid!"
word, let's not get our hopes too high.

Green Party Presidential nominee, Cynthia McKinney, is the REAL Hip Hop candidate. On top of the fact that she selected the South Bronx bred hip hop activist, Rosa Clemente, as her running mate, McKinney is the only candidate speaking to the issues that matter most to our generation. Issues like the prison industrial complex, police brutality, racial profiling, job creation, working class problems and more. We need to vote our values and move from the audacity of hope to the audacity of real revolutionary change. The Green Party only needs 5% of the vote in order to receive federal matching funds, so don't believe the hype about "wasting your vote." If you live in a blue state you can't even use the excuse of the Greens as election spoilers. Don't think for a second that Obama is anything more than the lesser of two evils. If you doubt that Google his relationship with Zbigniew Brzezinski (he's on Obama youtube channel) and see what Brzezinski and his interests stand for and tell me if you think that's hip hop. Or research his positions on Israel (check out his speech to AIPAC) or just listen to how he wants to get out of Iraq only to get us stuck in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
