DMC to Judge “Hip-Hop for Hounds” Contest
The Humane Society of the United States, the nation’s largest animal protection organization – backed by 10.5 million Americans, is holding the first “Hip Hop for Hounds” contest for the best rap song that stands up for dogs, and against dogfighting.
The contest will be judged by rap legend DMC, of Run DMC, and the winner will receive a $1,000 prize. Due to a large number of requests, contest submissions will be accepted until March 31, 2008. The winner will be announced shortly after.
