Talib Kweli Interview on Karmaloop TV ”

This is why Talib is my dude. EVERY interview he does he is always laying down the truth and putting an interesting perspective on things – like his defense of Nelly and 50, who I don’t personally care for most of the time, but he is on point that they have the right to express themselves and that it is the use of their music that may be out of place. Keep preachin’, Talib.
yeah, he seems like such a humble and non-hateful dude. just because he’s a conscious emcee doesn’t mean he’s going to hate on club music – even though he could.
kweli realizes there is a time and place for club music, and that his music is, as he said, more for the daytime. way to make your point while refraining from hating on anybody.
if they played kweli all day on the radio, this modern day hip-hop debate wouldn’t even exist.
I’ve honestly never seen a boring or uninteresting Kweli interview, even when the interviewer was poor. One of the most interesting interviews was actually Kweli interviewing 50 Cent, although it was more of a discussion, and 50, on many occasions has even mentioned that Kweli is one of his favorite emcees.
