      FREE Download: ScholarMan “Hiroshima Fusion”

I’ve been anticipating this FREE mixtape since ScholarMan told me it was dropping a couple weeks back. “Hiroshima Fusion” is an EP that fuses the jazzy and soulful music of 70s rock band Hiroshima with ScholarMan’s brand of hip-hop. “Hiroshima Fusion” is the first of many Soganic Music free projects to expect in 2010, and features K-Mynez, Kahli Abdu, Teisha Marie and Verronica Styles. FREE Download: Reason “Stalker Stories”

Big ups to Storm Davis with the Poorly Drawn People/Strange Famous Records crews for sending this over. Reason is a talented emcee out of Rhode Island’s Poorly Drawn People crew (one of my favorite crews of the deep underground) who caught my eye with his ‘07 debut album “Gemini Slang.” This is the only thing I’ve heard from his since, but upon first listen, it’s definitely worth the download. “Stalker Stories” features production by Falside, Dox of PDP and PhillipDrummond, with guest appearances by Storm Davis, Dirty Hank, Cas Uno, Esh The Monolith and Intrikit. FREE Download: Agartha Audio “The Butterfly Effect”

Uncommon Records artist Dig Dug caught my eye a couple years ago when he dropped “Tales From the Cafetorium” – an album he created with a bunch of elementary school students as part of an after-school program. Now the Berkeley-based underground hip-hop artist is returning with his new crew Agartha Audio, and their new album “The Hollow Earth” – which is apparently somewhat of a sci-fi concept that sticks to the overarching theme of the Reptilian Agenda. The Butterfly Effect is the first leak from that album, and features Cam on the mic with Dig Dug on production. Click below to listen to Agartha Audio’s The Butterfly Effect:

FREE Download: Little Brother “Curtain Call”

I’ve been waiting for new material from Little Brother since they dropped “Getback” – which was in my opinion their best album. So I was amped to see this track hit my email last week. Curtain Call is the first leak from the duo’s upcoming album “Leftback” – which is rumored to be their last album together. Click below to listen to Little Brother’s Curtain Call:

This is the title track from TRUTHLiVE’s upcoming free EP, “The UnLearning” – which will be dropping this week sometime. The UnLearning was produced by Vitamin D, and was apparently recorded in just one take. TRUTHLiVE’s EP is just a preview for his upcoming album “Patience” – scheduled for April release. FREE Download: Neak “84′ Vol.2 (The Silent Fiasco)”

I had never heard of Chicago emcee Neak until last week when somebody sent me his video for Make It – which I thought was seriously dope. Therefore, I was pleased to see the release of Neak’s new mixtape “84′ Vol.2 (The Silent Fiasco).” On first listen, the album seems to be very authentic – with a lot of time an passion put in, and definitely worth the download. FREE Download: Mike Schpitz “See Me”

I became a fan of underground hip-hop artist Mike Schpitz a couple weeks back when he sent me his video for The Rain. See Me is produced by Parker, and will be featured on FlawlessHustle.com’s upcoming mixtape “Stay Flawless.” Click below to listen to Mike Schpitz’ See Me:

                    FREE Download: “Bohemian Rap CD”

I’ve been anticipating this release for a while now. “Bohemian Rap CD” features five of my favorite NYC underground emcees – Jake Lefco, IllSpokinn, Ryan-O’Neil, Kats and Domer, who produced the entire EP by skillfully sampling Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody to create 6 different tracks with all five emcees are featured on each song.
