Sadat X “Come On” Live Performance

This post is dedicated to my brother D Long! The video is a live performance of Come On by Sadat X during last week’s Masta Ace and EDO.G record release party at Southpaw in Brooklyn – recorded by Chilly S.

Come On is one of my brother’s all time favorite songs, which he listens to over and over again on his way to play golf every weekend during the summer. Apparantly, the track amps him up and makes him play better … despite the fact that the sophisticated cats on the golf course often look negatively upon a guy singing “C’mon, motherfuckers, c’mon!” before every drive. Thanks for a great holiday D!

Word! Sadat X is one of the most underrated rappers in the history of hip hop. One of the best voices / deliveries ever. By the way…….I would recommend listening to this song before you attend any event where you need to get pumped up or want to motivate yourself and instill confidence………a golf outing, playing ball, working out, a job interview, or even in route to a night at the casino (maybe I should have listened to it Tuesday night)………will always be on my playlist.

        Good times Nat!

Kats! It was good meeting you. I really enjoyed listening to your stuff. I plan to listen to it more but the track that really stuck out for me was Rich Dad Poor Dad……great flow / lyrics and another one which I don’t recall the name. Take care.
