Hip-Hop Videos at Hip-Hop Linguistics. Are you tired of watching the same old videos on the television? Tired of all the same bling-bling, snap dance, I'm-a-thug-from-the-suburbs portrayals posted on 99% of the copycat hip-hop websites on the Internet? The Hip-Hop Linguistics video section contains underground hip-hop videos that you won't see on MTV or BET. If you're looking for good hip-hop videos that are different, intelligent and positive, check out the videos below!
New video for Random and K-Murdock’s Forever, a track from their latest album “Forever Famicom.” If you like this, I recommend checking out some other tracks from the album such Hero Musik, Dream Master and Epoch.
This is the second dope video I’ve come across from Phillip Morris’ latest album “The Truth Campaign.” If you like this, check out Phillip’s video for Collateral Damage.
Another dope animated video by Distrakt. Not sure what this song is from, possibly Distrakt’s upcoming album – which is supposed to be dropping sometime soon. Adjust features Count Bass D. If you like this, check out Distrakt’s videos for Factorized MC’s and Sup.
This video is the first thing in two months that made me want to get up and post something on HHL. Reigndrops is one of quite a few bangers on ScholarMan’s 2011 album “ExiSTANCE” – which I been bumping regularly since January. If you like this, check out Scholar’s video for “Lyrical Baptism.”
This week’s hip-hop video of the week is Celph Titled & Buckwild’s Mad Ammo, a track from this week’s featured album “Nineteen Ninety Now.” Mad Ammo features FT and R.A. the Rugged Man.
Living in NYC, I come across so many fair weather Jets fans who have jumped on the bandwagon since the team’s big playoff run last year. And it’s annoying as fuck. Two years ago, I could go to any bar in Brooklyn and catch my slowly up-and-coming Cleveland Browns (who sadly lost an overtime nail biter to the Jets a couple weeks back) on TV. Now every bar I go to is filled with a new wave of Jets fans, and the bartenders refuse to turn to the Browns game.
But being a fan of a struggling team myself, I can appreciate the die hard cats who have always stuck with their team like Strange Famous Records’ artist Prolyphic. This video is for his track NY Jets – a song about the anxiety involved in being a Jets fan in years past. Luckily the team has battled back from years of struggle, and is pretty much a lock for the Wild Card playoff spot this year. Congrats to the Jets, but watch out for my Browns next year!
