I should really try to stay up late enough to check out Jimmy Fallon more – because he shows hip-hop a lot of love. This is a live performance that aired last week of Talib Kweli, Mos Def and The Roots band performing History from Mos’ latest album “The Ecstatic.”
I don’t know how I missed this shit. Or the fact that Chali 2Na finally released his long awaited “Fish Outta Water” earlier this month. But I came across the album Friday and haven’t stopped bumping it since. This video is for Lock Shit Down, one of a handful of dope tracks from the album. Lock Shit Down features a guest verse from Talib Kweli.
