Trailer for the upcoming DVD telling the story of Jedi Mind Tricks. It apparently shows documentary footage, live performances, video shoots and all kinds of bonus material ranging from “Psycho-Social” to “Servants in Heaven, Kings in Hell.” Can’t wait for this to drop.

Vinnie Paz, the vocal half of Philadelphia’s Jedi Mind Tricks, is notorious in the underground hip-hop universe for his dark lyrics and concise rhymes that speak directly to what’s going on in his head.

JMT’s most recent record, “Servants in Heaven, Kings in Hell,” spans the vast landscape of Vinnie’s thoughts - including suicide and war - and fits perfectly with producer Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind’s array of vivid beats and melodies. (more…)

I don’t really know how to come up with a cool introduction for this album review, so I’m just going to tell you what I think straight up: This album is spectacular. I rarely give a full five stars to any album, except those that I expect to listen to regularly for the rest of my life. This is definitely one of those albums. (more…)
