This was a nice little surprise – a FREE new track by EMC, who’s groundbreaking album “The Show” was one of the best of ’08. Not sure if this means that they’re going to be making a new EP, but the track is definitely worth the download. Click below to listen to EMC’s Another Day In My Life:

This is a dope new remix of Doom’s Gazillion Ear, a track from his ’09 album “Born Like This.” The remix was created by the Madvillainz beat crew as part of the upcoming “Gazillion Ear Remix EP,” which will feature a bonus beat for the song produced by DOOM, and remixes of the track from Thom Yorke, Dr Who Dat? and Jneiro Jarel & Dave Sitek. The One Shot Series is a presentation by NahRight.com and Restless Films where they apparently film a music video in one shot. And this installment is dope. Change is a track from Sha Stimuli’s “My Soul To Keep.”
This is a video for M-Tri’s 1988 (Take You Back), a reminiscent-type of track from his new album “Max Talkin’ Real Ism.” If you like this, you should also check out Suicidal Hype Sh*T.
This is a new track from Prolyphic of Strange Famous Records – who is currently working on an album with labelmate Buddy Peace. NY Jets is a song about the anxiety involved in being a Jets fan, and I was impressed how the lyrics really dig into some of the team’s history, successes, and recent struggles. As a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, however, I can say that Jets fans gotta be feeling aiight right about now. Shit, the team could make the playoffs still – and definitely has something to look forward to in the near future. Unlike my Browns. Click below to listen to Prolyphic’s NY Jets:

Courtesy of All The Way Live and Questlove, “Sandwiches” is a 22-track EP created of some select intro and exit jams the Roots have created as house band for Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon. It’s amazing to hear the band’s evolution – and really makes me wonder what the Roots’ upcoming album is going to sound like. Click the link below to download The Roots’ “Sandwiches” EP for FREE:
