This week’s underground hip-hop track of the week is Puddinhead from Lone Wolf’s new album “Sum And Belief Are The Lone Wolf,” which I been bumping all week. The album is real chill and laid back, and nice to throw on at night after work and shit. I like Puddinhead because it’s basically a track contempating how a person gets older in hip-hop … something I deal with also. Click below to listen to the track:

These cats just dropped a new video for another track, but I was feeling this one more. The Adventures of Larry and Tina is from Wax and EOM’s album “Liquid Courage.”
Big ups to BeatRoot for sending this over. Sage Francis just dropped the 5th installment of his “Sick Of” mixtape series, this one titled “Sick of Wasting.” For those of you who are interested, Strange Famous is offering signed physical copies here for $10. El-P leaked this track late last night, and it is apparently material from the Weathermen’s highly-anticipated upcoming collaboration album. Titled Reports of a Possible Kidnapping, this track features El-P, Aesop Rock and Cage. For those you who don’t know, the Weathermen is a supergroup of Def Jux affiliated emcees consisting of El-P, Cage, Tame One, Yak Ballz, Breeze Brewin, Aesop Rock, and the recently-deceased Camu Tao (not pictured above). This week’s underground hip-hop track of the week is Strands by Portland hip-hop collective Sandpeople. Strands is the opening track from Sandpeople’s brand new EP “Long Story Short,” which definitely has some bangers on it. I like this track because it features verses by seven of the group’s ten emcees – and that’s a lot of cats to throw on a track and still make it sound good. Click below to listen to the track:
